		Italian National Space Agency The Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (ASI) or the Italian Space Agency is the national space agency of Italy. It is responsible for all space related activities of Italy.
			The Italian Space Agency was formed in 1988 to promote and research in the field of space sciences and technology. ASI is located in Rome, Italy. The ASI is the third contributor of European Space Agency (ESA) and a major player in European Space endeavors. The ASI has become a major player in, Space Sciences Satellite Technology Mobile Systems for Exploration
		The ASI also collaborates with international space agencies including NASA and ESA. ASI has done considerable research in, Astrophysics and Cosmology Gamma Ray Burst Phenomenon Developing components and systems on board NASA and ESA probes Cosmo-SkyMed program (a program aimed at increasing our knowledge of Earth) Satellite Development and Manufacturing Environmental study, climate changes and disaster management Telecommunication systems and technologies ASI has also collaboration with NASA and ESA on, Mars Express (collaboration with ESA) Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (collaboration with NASA). ASI is working on an Expandable Launch vehicle named Vega with ESA for future manned and unmanned missions to space.
