How to Convert the Resistor Value into a 5-Band Resistor Color Code

In this article we would look into how to convert the resistance value into a 4-Band color-code.

In order to Calculate the 5-Band colors for a resistance value or if you wish to  know what band colors are required for a typical resistance value input the resistance value accompanied by its tolerance value into the program. Performing the Calculation gives the 5-band color-code for that resistance.

For example, if we wish to find what is the 5-band color code for a resistance which has a value of 1432 ohm with a 5% tolerance.

After computing we get,

Brown-Yellow-Orange-Black-Gold

Similarly, 5-band colors code for other resistance values can also be computed.
