Aerodynamics Aerodynamics is the fundamental science of the aerospace engineering. Aerodynamics deals with the dynamics or motion of fluid around a body. |

|
Aerodynamics is fundamental to the understanding of flight. Flight was not possible without the subsequent understanding of the principles of the aerodynamics.
Aerodynamics is divided into two parts,
Incompressible Aerodynamics deals with the aerodynamics of bodies at low velocity where the flow of the fluid can be considered to be in-viscous so that density of the fluid remains constant. Typically, incompressible flow regime is evident upto a Mach no of 0.3.

Compressible Aerodynamics deals with the aerodynamics of bodies at very high velocity where the density of the fluid cannot be considered to be constant. The density is variable in the compressible flow regime. Compressible flow gets highly complicated with the addition of shock waves. Severe thermal changes and interactions also takes place at high mach number. Free Calculation Programs on Aerodynamics
